Growing with Grief

  • Online Event From the comfort of your home (map)

An online event — for anyone who is navigating grief and loss, you are warmly invited to join an evening of gentle movement, tools to self soothe, and be held in community.

This is a space to support both our personal and collective experiences of grief. Whether you're moving through a recent loss, grieving something from the past, or need a reminder to take care of yourself, you are welcome here. This is a gift for you to seek out the softness and be in the now of your experience.

How the evening will look:

- Yin inspired postures + gentle movement
- Grounding breath work
- Guided meditation
- Reflective writing

These practices are here to support you through your process of grief. We’ll go through the body to bring the mind to ease, allowing emotion and feeling to express how they want to. Through guided meditation and simple breathing techniques I will help you locate the pockets of support that are always present within you. After closing with a short journaling practice there will be space to share and connect if you would like to. Though, this is not a space where you have to tell your story or engage with the group at all. Oftentimes just being together with others who are on a similar path is enough to feel held.

I’d like to remind you that I am not a therapist or psychologist, but I am drawing from my own experience of grief and sharing techniques that have helped me process and feel the intensities of it all.

I warmly encourage you to join me from the comfort of your home, on Thursday 5th of December, 7:00-8:30pm (UK time) and find solace in the company of others who understand.

This event is open to all levels of ability, please reach out to me at charloganyoga@gmail.com if you have any questions.

*Tickets are £20 - concession prices are available, please message for more information.

Kindest,
Charley x
