Your facilitators

Get to know your yoga instructor and venue owners for this Tuscan getaway.

  • Charley is an experienced yoga teacher currently based in London, UK. She guides students on an intentional, invigorating journey away from the inner critic and toward a place of peace and awareness. Whether leading a dynamic or powerful vinyasa flow, a deeply restorative class, or a visualisation meditation, her teachings are creative, playful and intelligently designed for all levels to advance their practices.

She has a realm of knowledge in various movement practices from her background in dance, and holds a compassionate space for everyone to explore their physical landscape and breath.

  • Maraviglia is the family home where owner, Francesco Piattelli, spent his childhood. After leaving Italy to go to school and start a business in NYC, what he noticed was a need for stillness in the big city lifestyle. He craved an escape away from the high pressure jobs, unbalanced eating, and above all, stress. This inner desire lead him back to his hometown. He found that country living embodies all the power to heal.

Maraviglia became a place for him to practice mindfulness and gratitude, strengthening the belief that living in a healthy, balanced, natural manner is a way to make positive change for ourselves and for the ecosystems in which we live.

  • Francesca is a sustainable living and travel consultant. Her focus is to create holistic tourism experiences that merge her skills – yoga, food and organic agriculture. Her first introduction to the world of food started in her family’s restaurant, where she began working at age 15. Francesca then pursued an MA in Food Culture and Communication, presided by the Slow Food Movement, and she is now developing the recipes served at Maraviglia.

Francesca also obtained her Yoga Teacher Certification at the AYM School in Rishikesh, India. This experience led her to merge her interests in natural food and holistic living, forming a path in pursuit of wellbeing. In 2018, Francesca began working at Maraviglia Conscious Living Center. Here, she curated and led the resort’s wellness experiences, from cooking meals to leading workshops to collaborating with some of Tuscany’s finest importers, producers, and farms.
